We are a small, urban family farm located in Oregon's Willamette Valley. Professors by trade, we began farming as a path toward a more ethical, sustainable, and rewarding relationship to the earth and to the food we eat.
Sebastian grew up near the Alps, where livestock graze on the alpine meadow (Alm). Our farm is located in an old-growth oak forest (Eichenwald). Our name, "Eichenalm," combines elements of both spaces in honor of the natural environment and traditional forms of farming we take as our model.
